DIY media (do it yourself) and practice of media activism

Session of VMS#4 has took place on the June 7th 2008, Saturday, as part of non-conference “MediaBarCamp“ (http://www.mediabarcamp.com/). The topic of VMS#4 is “DIY media (do it yourself) and practice of media activism“. It was untypical session, without many speakers. It was presentation of VMS as network crossborder activity. Here we publish some thesis wich was prepared after MediaBarCamp.
We will try to understand media activism as self-representation. And as a case studies we will compare classical “Samizdat” and modern web-activism.
